Just had coffee and laundry with Nadia- good to see her, its been too long: like 2 months! We used to see each other every week!
She's been working and spent a week with her extended family in a cottage near Ottawa.
Right now though the lack of solids, the cough medicine and this beer is just making me feel like a sack of shit. I have no idea what to do tonight- no passes to Stereo- nobody seems to be going out (Brian says it is too gay because of Pride Week)- I don't care- I am addicted to bass.

Including the previously mentioned party. Anne and I got home and crashed- by the time we woke up it was well past midnight and we had no desire to do anything except fuck and then go back to sleep.
Sumi says the night went well- lots of dancing, then everyone went to Circus and she loved the music. I wonder if Sabs liked it at all? She hated it last time. Still waiting to hear on passes for tonight. Very critical!! Must call and find out.
Feeling better at work- new manager on Monday might have a better idea of how to use me.

Tonight is the My Little Pony party (don't ask!!) These things start so late! I'm exhausted and it won't start until 11 or so!

Jamie is in the office today to clear out his desk- he's one of the 40 lucky souls who get the rest of the summer (and forever)off. He's been cleaning his new house, spending time with his wife, drinking beer...
A Scottish bloke- Jamie used to be on my Specialist team a year and a half ago before he got downsized out of that position and had to do some acrobatics to get a job in Service sales.
Services are our new "growth" area- so they gutted the department when it wasn't performing up to snuff.
I hope he can make his mortgage payments.

Stop talking to me- you are dead already
Yesterday we got rid of some 40+ people where I work while I was "working from home!" I got in to work today to hear a sales director, 3 managers, and various rif-raff had been laid off/ fired- too bad it wasn't more (too bad they didn't keep more of the cute girls they had hired!)
They did keep a wandering band of idiots who sit close to me with bad personal hygiene and worse manners. I will have to deal with them on my own time, it seems.

Horrible madness
Late night with Anne and the newly engaged Cynthia and Jack- they left at around midnight after 5 hours of drinking, smoking and talking.I left Anne in bed this morning- it's a nice feeling wanting to stay in bed and hold someone while the day ticks away.
