The way they were talking on The National tonight you would think the Conservatives had already won Ontario, the West and most of rural British Columbia! Not to mention a handful of East Coast ridings! If things keep going like this the NDP had better buy some pretty serious attack ads against the conservatives.Or a small television network--- what are the Aspers up to these days?

Jack Layton, New Democrat leader- should shave off that mustache and be seen actually sleeping with his hot and real-politik Asian wife so voters will think he has some sort of life outside of screaming in scrums in the halls of Parliament. If he can't pull this one together we're in for a long 5 years of bland Liberal majority government or an even worse 5 years of Stephen Harper trying to keep his MP's out of their pages' pants and/ or jail.

Not saying Layton would win the election- but the NDP would make a great partner in a minority government.

My morning television viewing got off to a bad foot as I watched Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin walk down Sussex Drive in Ottawa to the home of Lieutenant Governor Adrienne Clarkson to dissolve Parliament and call a General Election for June 28.

I can't think of a more tragic mis-step in democracy than the leader of a parliamentary party not becoming Prime Minister because of some heckling by the minority members of the government!

I'm shutting down all of my internet dating accounts! I'm simply NOT going to pay to meet the people that seem to want to meet me!

It's been amusing to read these people's profiles but there seems to be no one new posting. It's all a blur- some of these people have the same posting on Tickle, Match.com, the Onion personals!! everywhere!

And everytime I try to sneak my email address into my profile either no one gets up the nerve to email me (even though we've winked or flirted back and forth 6 times!) or their too stupid to clue in to what the address is!

I'll have to post some excerpts of these women's profiles- it could make for a very interesting version of those daily affirmation books you see at Multimags.

Feel the Beat

There's nothing better than watching beautiful people dancing except dancing with the beautiful people. Tammy, Stephan and I had a wicked night at Circus with DJ Nivoc, except I smoked too much -got tired around 8 AM and lost the beat.

Too many single guys at Circus- had way more fun at Stereo last week.I also end up not talking to anyone new when I'm there--is it my lack of French? What's wrong with me- still feel out of place in that scene?

Saw the most beautiful woman- she looked like Alanis Morissette except more glamorous... she was with a Latin guy who had hair just like mine, before I got it caught. She danced with me for an hour- and I didn't even ask her name.

What is the correct social convention for that?? I don't know... dancing is one hting and flirting is another.
